Manage Gift Cards

To search and manage gift cards in the back end as an administrator, you can use either the gift card list or the QR code scanner.

You can open the gift card list by navigating to Components -> CM Gift Card -> Gift Cards.

To edit a gift card, click on its code. In the Gift Card tab, you can edit the code, design, amount, message to the recipient, and delivery date.

In the Sender & Recipient Info tab, you can edit the sender’s and the recipient’s information.

The Publishing tab shows information about the last modification.

You can open the QR code scanner by navigating to Components -> CM Gift Card -> Gift Card Scanner.

Joomla! is a web application and is accessed through a web browser, so when you open the QR code scanner, your browser asks for permission to use your device’s camera. You need to grant this permission.

When you scan a gift card’s QR code, a modal appears with the gift card’s information. You can set the redemption status by clicking the Redeem and Cancel Redemption buttons.
